Welcome to Dough and The Backyard—Wheaton’s home for unforgettable pizza, ice-cold drinks, and the kind of nights you’ll be talking about for weeks.

Dough was founded by Eric Schlickman, a Wheaton local with a deep love for design, and bringing people together. An architect by training and a long-time leader in the restaurant world, Eric combined his passion for great pizza with his eye for community spaces to create something special in the heart of downtown Wheaton.

At Dough, we serve up handcrafted pizzas made from scratch—from “Thick & Fluffy” Detroit style to “Thin & Crispy” New Haven Style pizzas house-made dough that’s rolled fresh every day. It’s casual, it’s family-friendly, and it’s just plain delicious.

Head out back, and you’ll find The Backyard—a laid-back, open-air venue made for live music, comedy, community events, and just kicking back with friends. Think string lights, lawn games, and a cold drink in your hand. It’s the kind of place where summer never really ends.
